Open Studio Sewing is hosting the December Material Girls meeting of Garment Sewing Group on Saturday, December 13 at 10:30 am. Anyone is welcome!

Every second Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday of the month the Material Girls meet at sewing stores in the metro area and share their latest makes and any sewing related news or events. They strongly believe in supporting local stores and want to ensure that they can touch and feel fabric before they buy :)

Attendees are encouraged to bring or wear what they’ve been making. Bring your pattern, a sample of the fabric you used (sewists are tactile people :) and any notions you found really helpful-or not!! You can also come empty handed and just soak in the sewing/creative energy!! No pressure!

You don’t need to register, your first time is free. After that the charge is $10 payable at the meeting or online here.
