This class will run Saturday, November 1, and Sunday, November 2 from 11am-5pm each day.
Sometimes our workshops end a little early, because we allot plenty of time to ensure everyone gets to finish their garment!
THE CLASS
The Henrietta Skirt by Spaghetti Western Sewing is a simple patterninspired by horse girl eras, 18th-century pannier skirts, and looking hot and mysterious while running errands. The skirt has generous volume with a flexible and comfortable elastic waist.
You'll leave with a finished skirt, a ton of new skills, and the confidence to start working on your next sewing project.
This pattern is size-inclusive and is designed to fit hip measurements from 36" to 67".
SKILL LEVEL
This class is intended for Absolute Beginners - it's totally ok if you've never touched a sewing machine before! We will start on day one by covering the most basic of skills (threading the machine and simple stitching) and build up from there. Our Absolute Beginner classes are a great way to get comfortable over two full days and begin your sewing journey with confidence and support. :)

WHAT'S INCLUDED
The Henrietta Skirt sewing pattern is included in the cost of the class and will be printed for you when you arrive. You'll also receive a digital file (and instructions) so you can reuse the pattern as many times as you want in the future.
You will need to purchase fabric and notions in the shop before the class (and you should leave time to pre-wash your fabric). Come by and we'll help you pick out something suitable that matches your style!
If you have your own sewing machine and want to use it, feel free to bring it with you (just make sure you have all the components including bobbins, foot pedal, etc). If you prefer, you can use one of our studio machines. We will also provide sergers.
