Confident Beginner: Sew a Zipper Fly - September 14, 12-3pm
This class will take place Sunday, September 14, from 12-3pm.
THE CLASS
Learn to sew a zipper fly so you can make hard pants!
We know sometimes this skill can be intimidating, and it's an essential if you want to sew your own jeans or trousers. We'll walk you through the steps on a practice zipper fly (or two) so you can leave with the confidence to do it again on pants!
SKILL LEVEL
This class is intended for Confident Beginners - you should know how to thread a sewing machine, wind the bobbin, and do basic stitching. It's ok if you haven't sewn a garment before, but prior experience and comfort with a sewing machine will help.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
All supplies (zippers, fabric and thread) are included in the cost of this class.
If you have your own sewing machine and want to use it, feel free to bring it with you (just make sure you have all the components including bobbins, foot pedal, etc). If you prefer, you can use one of our studio machines.
If you're bringing your own sewing machine, please ensure that you also bring a zipper foot.
This class will be taught by Taylor.
-Please note that our shop will be open to the public during this class.
-This class is intended for adults ages 16 and up.
